US Journey Immigration Services is made up of Attorney Marlene Gonzalez and her team of paralegals and legal assistants, all immigrants hailing from Brazil, Mexico, Nicaragua, and the Philippines. We serve our clients in Portuguese, Spanish, and Tagalog languages besides English. Our team is always available to provide professional, quality legal services.

Marlene F. Gonzalez

Attorney at Law

Attorney Gonzalez was born in the Philippines and move to the U.S. at the age of 12 with her family. She lived in Los Angeles, California and moved to Utah in her twenties. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Philosophy, and Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Utah. Attorney Gonzalez has been practicing Immigration law for over 22 years. She is actively involved in civic organizations and has served as a board member of several organizations, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association - Utah Chapter, Asian Association of Utah-Refugee Immigrant Center, Utah Crime Victims Reparation, Utah Minority Bar Association, Utah Sentencing Commission and the YWCA of Salt Lake. She is a world-traveler and loves hiking, history, the arts, music and culture. She loves to spend time eating and hanging out with her family.

Ariane is a Paralegal at US Journey Immigration Services. She is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she was a practicing lawyer for six years. In 2017, she immigrated to Utah to attend Salt Lake Community College as an International Student majoring in Legal Studies & Journalism as well as Social Media. She speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and English. Ariane is outgoing, passionate about life, and enjoys sports, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Estrella Velasco de Infante is a Paralegal at US Journey Immigration Services. She is from Venezuela, and before coming to the U.S., practiced law for 10 years. She has always been passionate about the law and how to use it to benefit families. In 2014, she arrived in this country with only a suitcase filled with dreams and hopes. As an immigrant, she knows how essential it is for all of us to be able to work and grow in the U.S. Estrella is married and a mother of three. She loves living in Utah, camping, and spending time with her family.

Stephanie is a Paralegal at US Journey Immigration Services. She was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and is a DACA Recipient. Prior to joining US Journey, she worked in Radiology assisting attorneys with personal injury cases. Working in Immigration brings her satisfaction knowing she is helping many achieve the American Dream. Stephanie enjoys traveling and spending time with her daughter and 3 dogs.

Paralegal

Karina is a Paralegal at US Journey Immigration Services. She is from Salt Lake City, Utah. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies and Political Science from the University of Utah and plans on attending law school in the near future. She is of Armenian and Lebanese descent and speaks fluent Western Armenian. Karina loves to dance, play piano and spend time with family and friends. She’s interested in pursuing a career in the field of Human Rights law.

William is the Customer Advocate at US Journey Immigration Services. Originally from Nicaragua, William speaks Spanish as well as Portuguese. He has been involved in helping and assisting people in the labor market for many years. He is passionate about helping immigrants, like himself, to make sense of the complicated immigration process. William is enamored by the Brazilian culture and people and feels close to the greater Central American community and their concerns.

Jessica Sandoval is the Onboarding Specialist at US Journey Immigration Services. She was born in Managua, Nicaragua. Due to the ongoing civil war in Nicaragua, Jessica knows first had about the asylum process. Seeing her parents navigate the complicated asylum process, she knows how hard it is to be an immigrant in the U.S. Jessica has been working with Immigration for the last few years and feels the pain and frustration of many clients. Jessica has 5 children and loves to cook.

Jonalyn Signo is a Virtual Assistant at US Journey Immigration Services. She is from the Philippines and speaks Tagalog. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Science Entrepreneurial Management and has 10 years of experience working in the Accounting Industry. She has the heart to extend her help to others, especially those Filipinos who want to reach their American dream. Jonalyn loves to travel, enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new things, and learning more about different cultures.
